What Do All Successful People Have In Common Wether Online Or Offline?
Successful people in any business or profession all are like-minded and are driven to reach their goals.
These include: Passion for their niche, a vision of where they are going, a strategy to get there, they are flexible, are prepared to take risks, they set priorities, they plan, they take action, they take control of their life and they surround themselves with like-minded positive people.
Following is a short description of each of the above highlighted terms.
1. Passion: Without having passion for your niche you will not succeed as easily. When you are passionate about your niche, it shows in all your marketing material and you yourself are very happy to spend the time needed to start making money from it.
2. Vision: If you don’t have a vision of where you want to go you will not do everything in the right order to get you there. You need to set realistic goals and visualise yourself having reached each of them in turn. This will keep you on track and motivate you to keep going when things don’t work as intended. You will be able to take the disappointment knowing that it is only a minor setback and not a total disaster.
3. Strategy: With a strategic and realistic plan for reaching your goals, which you follow and stick to, you will find that the tasks are not as onerous as they first appear. It has been said that if you fail to plan you are planning to fail. Thus, a plan for the next week, month, 3 months or year is essential to your success. If you only have a weekly plan you need to make a new one every week.
4. Flexibility: It is also important that you are flexible as life can interfere in the best-laid plans and so you may have to change them, even to the extent of starting again on a different track. If you are not flexible, you may find that your plan is unworkable and completely fail to reach your goals.
5. Risks: You must be prepared to take some risks and try out new things to help you reach your goals. By moving out of your comfort zone you give yourself the new knowledge you need to succeed. If you stick to the familiar comfortable things you have always done you will never be a success in internet marketing.
6. Priorities: You need to set your priorities. What do you want to achieve and what do you need to do first to succeed.
7. Plan: It is very important to have a plan of where you want to go and what you need to do to get there. It has been said that if you fail to plan you are planning to fail. Whilst it appears to be a waste of time planning what you are going to do and when you are going to do it, it is a critical part of your success or lack of success.
8. Action: If you do not take action you will not succeed. It is very important that you consistently take action to lead you towards your goals. People who succeed are constantly taking action. The action may end up being the wrong action but it will still help as it is action and not inaction.
9. Control: You need to control your environment so that you are comfortable and not distracted by things around you. Start by controlling the small things as they will help you control the bigger ones as they come up. If you want you can get help from a family member provided they are positive towards what you are doing. If they are negative they will hold you back and make it harder for you to succeed.
10. Like Minded: It is important to mix with like-minded people and those who have already been successful in internet marketing. The easiest way of doing this is to attend seminars run by other internet marketers, meet, and talk to the other attendees and the guest speakers along with the host. You can tap them for advice and when you are ready to launch a product of your own, they may well become some of your affiliates to promote that product.

Hi Richard
I planned for this year and next year and have mostly got where I wanted to be, so considering the things that got in the way, I am happy with where I am up to.

Hi Dee
I’m pleased to hear that you are happy with where you have got to this year and wish you success in everything you’ve planned for 2012.
You have helped me a lot in the last few months and if it wasn’t for the 2 Gs I would not be where I am today so a big thank you to them as well.
Richard
