An Update On My Progress In Internet Marketing
In general I have not done as well as I had hoped but I am still happy with my progress to date.
My mail list has been building steadily through JV Giveaways and now stands at 70 names. For an upto date list of giveaways visit my JV Giveaways Page by clicking the page link above the posts. I update it on a regular basis with new giveaways and remove the ones that have fininhed.
Thanks to JV Giveaways I have now made my first $12.97 on line. I made this as my commission for referring a member to the giveaway who purchased the OTO made when he/she signed up.
The Internet Business CodeX coaching is progressing and I have reached the rank of Vice President in the members forum. This training and coaching program is open to new members at present and you will find loads more information and can sign up here.
This is the best coaching program I have ever been in and the fact that no one asked for their money back after the training started speaks for itself, I believe 2 people asked for refunds before the training actually started. Everyone in the forum is very helpful and by posting a question there you get the answer posted so that everyone can read it. The current stats for the forum are

I had sent articles to Ezine articles but they were rejected and to be honest I was so discouraged that I just forgot about article writing completely for a time. I have now written 2 more articles and will be sending them to other article directories in the coming week. You are going about list building the right way, slowly. Hopefully your list will stay loyal and be with you for a long time to come.

We can but hope that they will convert to buyers in the future. To build a massive list in a very short space of time is just not IMO possible unless you already have a list who will sign up for another product.
This would give you another list but if the same people are on 2 or more lists they will get 2 or more emails from you and may well unsubscribe from them all.

I think it is a time of reflection for all of us at the moment. one thing about this course we have all met some nice friends.
Building a list is not the easiest thing to do but we all have to do it. One thing for certain you do not want to do an ad swap with someone you do not know.

We have met people we may never have met online if it wasn’tfor IBCX.
I agree that building a list is not easy but it is essential if you want to make money online.
I think Ad swaps will be better when you know the caliber of person you are dealing with and what sort of thing they promote already, if it doesn’t match up with what you are promoting it will be a waste of time and could ruin your list due to unsubscribes.

Thanks for the update. I love a nice honest post. I have tried giveaways a few times. They do build your list but I haven’t had much success. I never upgraded so maybe this is the reason.
Ad-swaps are out of the question during this lifetime.

I try to be honest as I don’t like receiving misleading or false information from others.
With some giveaways when you don’t upgrade you have to have others enrolled below you before the giveaway launches or you are downgraded to member status and your gift removed. With others (classed as being newbie friendly) you are not downgraded and it was one of this type where I made the $12.97. I had not recruited any other contributors but one of the members who signed up through my link bought the OTO.
Adswaps are losing their impact due to the large volume of trash being circulated, some of it by people who should know better.
